With Its New, Expanded Service From Dallas-Fort Worth, Frontier Airlines Continues To Move Forward

In recent years, Frontier Airlines has added many new routes and destination cities to its flight schedule. In a current Dallas News article, it is reported that Frontier will soon be adding several flights between Dallas-Fort Worth and Orlando and Las Vegas.

These routes are among the 22 new U.S. flight routes that were recently introduced by Frontier. In order to accommodate its growing presence, the air carrier will be adding almost 200 new aircraft to its fleet.

Nonstop flights between DFW and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas will be offered four times per week, beginning this spring. On Fridays and Saturdays, Frontier Airlines will also be providing flight service between DFW and Orlando.

The expanded flight service at DFW follows Frontier Airlines’ recent move into a larger terminal at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, as well as their increased number of destinations from Austin. The carrier will now be flying to more than 20 U.S. destinations from Austin.

To mark it’s move to Austin-Bergstrom’s South Terminal, Frontier Airlines has been featuring special low fares from Austin to a range of U.S. cities, including San Francisco, Denver, Salt Lake City and Chicago.

Frontier Airlines is not the only air carrier to be announcing the formation of new flight services from DFW this week. Sun Country Airlines has announced that it will start providing two new routes to the Caribbean in May. The airline will offer weekly service to Nevis and St. Kitts, and flights to Montego Bay in Jamaica twice a week.

Passenger traffic overall at Frontier Airlines has been on the rise. Between September 2017 and September 2018, the airline experienced a 20 percent increase in passengers compared to a year earlier. With the carrier’s new destinations from Dallas-Fort Worth coming soon, lots of vacationers will likely become Frontier passengers.
